Decor is so cool! Late 60's/early 70's Western inspired. Great food and friendly service with ample room for groups. Easily one of the best burger spots in SF. Some fun menu items too, can't go wrong. I also recommend the Mac and Cheese side, makes a great appetizer for two!

Don't get me wrong: the burgers at this place are phenomenal. But I'm just saying, once I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, I never ordered a burger again. Food for thought.

Excellent critics. We took burger, ff, and 2 salads. Not to say that we had difficulty to sleep at night!! Food was bad, too bad. I wonder how they got a good critic.

YUM! Quite a tasty burger and some solid fries! The hype for this place is quite high so it did set some expectations. I was lucky enough to snag a parking spot two blocks away (be patient!!) around noon time. No wait for me on a Sunday afternoon and service was really friendly from our cashier!

One of the better places for a burger in the Mission. And get the secret sauce from the All American and chicken sandwich...Incredible. The setting is kinda odd but it does have a old western feel like I'm in a diner from No Country for Old Men. As your sitting there you are almost waiting for Llewelyn with the brief case to post up at the bar with a Lone Star and All American. Keep in mind they only have tots, no fries. That could be a turn off to the traditionalists but just try it anyway. There are plenty of offering for any interest and the service was really the highlight. The kid was in a Thrasher shirt and fit the SF skate rat but he was awesome in every way. We even threw him an extra $10 just because he was so genuine. Worth it, and I'll be back in a couple of months once that craving comes back.

Really good food and great music.

Good but not in "best burger" territory, especially for $12. Beef taste is decent, but why ask how I want it cooked if it's just going to be well done anyway? Bun is nicely toasted but too dense and not quite squishy enough. Tater tots are just how I like them - extra crispy on the outside with a soft inside.

Burgers and the atmosphere at this location is super good. next time i'll be back with my coworkers. prices are reasonable. this place has many great reviews for a reason.

Fantastic delicious and innovative. Wes puts together interesting toppings to make a fun burger. Make sure you have his tater tots. You won't be going for a run after eating here but you will have a smile on your face

Service was excellent. The burger was very reminiscent of shake shack. The burger buns were Martin's potato rolls just like shake shack. Burgers are fresh, juicy, thin and smash style. Cheese was deliciously melty and the sauce was spot on. Fantastic burger, would get it anytime I could.

The service is really cool, not sure of her name but the girl that takes your order is really funny. Outside of that, the Nashville got is amazing I have nothing bad to say, it melts in your mouth, this sandwich is a mix between juicy, crispy and flavorful. I usually add the tots but this time around I just wanted to appreciate the Nashville hot in all its splendor. Anytime I’m in the Mission this is definitely always an option. I like the old school diner style and not having to wait extremely long for something with this amazing of a taste.

Today I'm eating a fried chicken burrito that comes with fried chicken, brisket beans, mac and cheese, Pico ,crema, jalapenos, this burrito is one of the best burritos I had in a long time and also it's very big meaty and will fill you up properly that's also I thing you don't know about Wes burger 'N more is that they have a side place that's open on certain days that caters beer wine and drinks it's called The Den you guys should try it they have a nice selection of beer and wine there and they're always kind and warm to people who come in so I would go here and recommend this place to anybody that has a good taste in food and wants to eat quality food at a good price and get it made your way. Not that is my official review of one of the hidden gems that's in San Francisco so if you're around this area take a trip down mission stop at 2240 mission Street and enjoy the food...

5 star burger joint in my book. Great fried chicken as well. Mac and cheese is the bomb and the beans rock! Thanks guys and happy new year!

Wes is rated as one of the best hamburgers of SF. I can say I was quite disappointed. The place does not offer french fries (only tots), the milkshake has little flavor, and I did not like the meat of the hamburger (had little hard spots of meat - maybe cartilage? - on it)... unfortunately it was not what I expected.

Not crowded at all. Awesome 70s bowling alley decor. Fantastic burger. Great service. If I lived near here I would be in trouble because I would come here everyday eat a burger and die at an early age due to heart disease. I would not be able to resist the temptation. It's that good.

WesBurger is not glamorous but serves great burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. I also had tator tots that were loaded with carmelized onions, bacon, and more. I also had a great buttermilk milkshake.

5 for the everything tots with bulgogi bacon. Burgers pretty good if a little overcooked. Great dipping sauce selection, but you have to ask for the aiolis and such.

I love the burgers at Wes Burger. The hidden jems are the side dishes. The brisket that they use in the beans and in the chips and queso should be its own dish. I like the Nashville chicken because its crunchy af but somehow still juicy.

This place just rocks. Been a fan since its opening. The taters are amazing! The burgers are hella juicy. Get extra napkins if you eat in the car. You have been warned .

One of my favorite locations for delicious burgers. Came here on a Saturday. The place has a nice feel to it. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

Definitely like Wes Burger! Been a fan since new. Especially of the lunch special. And the owner rides moto's too. That's cool!

I gave it five stars because the service is wonderful the music that they play in there is great but the food itself what I had was the okie dokie Burger and the beans with beef brisket in it if you ordered this item make sure you have a whole lot of water because you will be thirsty after eating that salt stick but other than that I need to try some other stuff but yeah give it a try but service is wonderful

That chicken sandwich is legit. Hands down best fried chicken sandwich ever! Tater tots are to die for. I bet it's fried in lard but I don't care

Looks and tastes like Austin, Texas. This is the best queso in SF, second only to Alamo drafthouse queso. The food was all delicious and there’s a nice beer and good shake selection. So happy to have found a taste of home!

Tots are awesome, burgers are good too, fried chicken is pretty gross(had it twice and both times it's burnt and slimy) rest of the menu is really good just avoid the chicken if it's fried.

Get either of the Chicken Sandwiches on the menu This is the specialty item for sure!! Deluxe tots are worth trying and can easily split with another person if getting additional food items. Super cute place... blast from the past for me. Looks like an old 80s burger joint inside. Brought back good memories of my childhood. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Great venue in the Mission District.

The burger was very good.first time I have tried a pbnj burger.would have it again.the tots are very good also.the place is very clean on the inside and the food was delivered fast.

I went there for breakfast, and ended up eating lunch there. They do not have breakfast specific items on menu.I tries Nashville Chicken Sandwich and Veg Sandwich. Their portion size is quite big, so quite difficult to finish entire portion, even if quite hungry.Service is really fast. I specifically liked the grape drink.

This was a really fun date spot for swell time! The milkshakes were really really good. I thought the bun was a bit over powering. I would love to see additional condiments that didn't have nightshades, but they were very accommodating to my allergy nonetheless. I was pleasantly surprised buttermilk was only one of the milkshake options, the peanut butter milkshake and chocolate were wonderful. I think the tots would be better with other sauce options, alone they aren't outstanding, but they kinda make sense with the kitschy vibe. Staff was wonderful and seem to really like the locals and regulars who come through.

Great burgers and one of the best milk shakes in San Francisco. I had peanut butter, but they recommended horchata. Nice beer selection and they'll give you beers to go.

WesBurger is legit.The burgers have lost just a little something that made them perhaps the best burger in the city back when it was a popup. But even with the scaled up operation, it's definitely among the top burgers around.

This hamburger is divine, big and juicy, first bite, I thought I was in heaven.The owner is a very friendly young man who made me feel at home.Also the staff from the kitchen it’s nice too, I meet Pedro and i was totally in love with him.I think everyone deserves to have a man like a Pedro in his life. I’ll come back for sure! totally in love for this place..

This was the best Chicken Sandwich I've ever had. The crust was thick and crunchy, the lettuce was crisp and there was a ton of flavor. I also got their loaded Tots and they were covered in candied bacon, melted cheese and a special sauce. So good.

Really delicious! The cheese was unbelievable and the patties were fantastic. The staff was really helpful from my order all the way to the table. Cool atmosphere. Fries were really good and the house sauce was perfect with the meal.

The best burgers are in Texas so nice to see some of that inspiration in WesBurger. Love the creative menu. The buns are the biggest negative for me. Way too dry and void of flavor. Other than that, great burger joint.

Wes and his team have hit the jackpot. The entire staff provides excellent service with a smile - so friendly. I highly recommend trying the following: Hot Wes (signature burger), Strawberry shake (I'd never had a buttermilk based shake and it's so yum), Queso & Tots (queso on the side). There's a reason my friends and I have been dining here weekly for nearly a year now.

At the moment you come to that place they give you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a friendly place to go out with your friends or with your date. tasty cuisine, creative chef de cuisine, comfortable cost and courteous service. Highly recommended.

Both the chicken and the tots were super crispy. I wish the chicken was a lot spicier but still had good flavor.

Nice and friendly, had great beer on tap. Helpful staff, ready to answer any questions about menu items. Restroom was clean and smelled good. Burger was delicious but I'd prefer fries instead of tater tots.

The Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich is a must-try. It has a kick, but actually not too spicy. That miso caramel shake is rather good, too
